Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer has been live for a week now, and today they announced new maps, Gunfight, Zombies update, and the arrival of Urzikstan brings Modern Warfare 3 – Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 to life.

Activision confirmed today that in Season 1, they will have three all-new 6v6 maps, and the first two are available on Day 1 of Season 1. The new locations are below, and Activision says they will provide a more detailed preview of these new maps at a later date.

Activision did tease that a fan 2v2 mode Gunfight will return as well but will be giving more information at a later date. They did share that one of the new 2v2 maps is called Training Facility, which is below.

Zombie Storys continue in Season 1 with Rifts and Wonders, making your Operators tasked to investigate a massive, mysterious gateway that has appeared in the Exclusion Zone.

Enter the Rift: Inside Dark Aether Rifts, Operators will encounter a sinister and chaotic challenge, with limited time on the clock to complete objectives and escape with their lives (and sanity).

Dark Aether Rifts are a new end-game experience to master once players have completed the seasonal mission.

Friend Zone: A modified V-R11 Wonder Weapon packs a punch, transforming enemies, Zombie or Human, into loyal allies.

Gear-up: A new category of unique acquisition schematics that will test the player's skill to unlock.

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a big update in Season 1 with the all-new Urzikstan map. Tackle an urban landscape incorporating 11 major points of interest for Call of Duty: Warzone.
